Short version Your medication data stays on your device by default. Some optional features, like iCloud Drive backup, Apple Health access, and AI features, only work if you choose to use them.

What stays on your device by default

Your medication entries, logs, notes, and routine data are stored on your device by default. You do not need to create an account to start using Pillr.

Optional iCloud Drive backup

Pillr offers optional iCloud Drive backup and restore. If you choose to use that feature, your backup is handled through your own Apple account and iCloud settings.

Optional Apple Health access

Pillr may offer optional Apple Health features. If you turn those on, Apple Health permissions are controlled by you inside iPhone settings.

Optional AI features

Some AI features are optional. Because they rely on internet access, they should only be used if you want those extra tools. They are not required for basic medication reminders and tracking.

No medical advice

Pillr helps you remember medication and keep records. It does not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
